Shipping
We here at Pleasure Ridge Candles strive to give You, the customer, the best service possible, especially when it comes to shipping and the costs associated with shipping. We do everything we possibly can to keep shipping costs down and to give our customers the cheapest shipping rates possible.
Why are shipping charges not calculated on your site? We don't have shipping charges calculated into our site due to some customers want shipping through one company only, whereas some customers want whichever shipper is cheaper. Due to everchanging shipping rates this also keeps us from having to constantly update everytime shippers raise their rates. We realize this may be an inconvenience to some, but, this is the only way we can give our customers accurate shipping charges with whichever shipper they prefer to use. Accurate shipping charges is all we charge, we aren't in business to make money off shipping. If an order is placed the customer will be contacted with shipping options and costs. Payment for shipping charges must be paid before any order can be shipped. If you would like a total with shipping options and costs please email us with your order at pleasureridgecandles@yahoo.com. All orders placed online and paid prior to shipping costs will have 7 business days to make payment for shipping costs. If payment for shipping costs is not received within 7 business days the order will be canceled and payment will be refunded via paypal, unless other arrangements have been made.
We're NOT in business to make money off shipping...that's how we plan on staying in business and serving you for years to come!
We do not ship outside of the United States or to APO/FPO addresses.
Although most orders do ship faster, please use the following guidelines for approximations of processing and shipping time(s) for your order(s).
Due to the fact that each item is hand-poured to order, please allow appropriate time for us to complete and ship your order. During peak and Holiday seasons, orders may take longer to complete and ship. You will receive notification via email when your order has shipped.
Our business days are normal business practice which is Monday through Friday, not including holidays. To calculate the time it may take for your order to be complete, please begin counting from the business day AFTER you've placed your order. Although we try our best to get ALL orders out within 5 business days, to be on the safe side, please go off of the shipping time frame(s) we have listed in our FAQ's section in order to calculate how long it will be before you receive your order(s). Also, please keep in mind that processing time does NOT include shipping time, and it can take anywhere from 2 to 5 days for USPS to deliver your order to your door. Additional Fees
Please be EXTREMELY careful as to list your COMPLETE shipping address, as to include apartment, lot or suite numbers, and double check that it is correct. We can only ship to the address with which we are provided. If we ship to the address you provided and the package is returned to us, you ARE responsible for any additional shipping charges plus the actual cost to reship to you. When additional fees are incurred, you will be notified so that you may make a Pay Pal payment to cover them.
Ordering information & Payment
At this time, all orders placed through our secure online shopping cart can be paid through PayPal. We will accept checks, but certain restrictions may apply. If you are wanting to place an order and pay via check, please contact us prior to ordering for requirements.
Cancellations
Upon receiving your order, we will send you a confirmation email stating that your order has been received. We will also send you an email once we have started on your order. If you wish to cancel your order for any reason at all, please do so BEFORE we send you the confirmation email stating that we have started your order. Once your order has been started, cancellations will NOT be accepted.
Returns
We try to ensure the quality of each and every candle and other products that we produce. Customer satisfaction IS our main goal!
If there is a quality issue or you have received the wrong product, please contact us within 5 days upon receiving your order. Please be aware that we CAN NOT accept returns on special orders. We can not accept returns without prior authorization.
If you aren't sure you'll like a fragrance, please order it in a small size at first. We do NOT accept returns if you don't like a particular scent.
A Special Note about Colors
We can not accept returns bases on candle color. Due to the hand-crafted nature of our candles, no two candles will be alike (this includes color). Please be aware that you will not receive the exact same color each time you order a specific scent.
Damaged Items
ALL items shipped leave our facility securely packaged and in EXCELLENT condition. If you receive an item that was damaged in transit, please keep your box and packaging materials and contact your local post office or UPS to file a claim immediately.
